ABOUT
My name is Erin Douglass, and I am a librarian who strives to connect all to knowledge and one another through dynamic, meaningful experiences. Currently, I am the Children's Librarian at the Upper Saddle River Public Library in Upper Saddle River, New Jersey.
I found my calling in library service serendipitously when I accepted a job as a circulation assistant at my local library in 2014. With an MLIS and a BA in sociology, my career path is informed by an enduring commitment to public libraries as democratic hubs of shared knowledge and experiences. My professional mission is to empower people from all walks of life to learn freely and embody a better tomorrow.
